Our gold-plated jewellery is finished in 14ct or 18ct gold, depending on the design. Each finish is chosen to complement the piece, giving it its warm gold colour and distinctive shine. Gold plating will naturally change with time and wear. To keep your jewellery looking its best, avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume, lotions and other chemicals, and store it carefully when you're not wearing it.

Our sterling silver pieces are made from 925 sterling silver - an alloy containing 92.5% pure silver. Loved for its clean, understated finish, sterling silver is easy to wear alone or mixed with gold, colour and stones.

Copper is used as a base metal in selected designs and may be finished with gold plating, enamel or other decorative details. It allows us to create sculptural shapes and statement pieces while keeping our jewellery accessible and easy to wear.

We use imitation pearls in selected designs, chosen for their lustre, shape and finish.

Rather than traditional pearl jewellery, you'll usually find ours mixed with colour, gold and unexpected details.

We use cubic zirconia across many of our designs for its clarity and brilliant sparkle. Cut to catch the light, it gives pieces the look of fine jewellery while keeping them easy to wear - and accessible.

Moissanite is prized for its exceptional brilliance and sparkle. We use it in selected pieces where we want a particularly fine, light-catching finish. It has a slightly different character to a diamond, with more colourful flashes as it catches the light.

We use a mix of natural and semi-precious stones and crystals across our collections, chosen for their colour, texture and character.

As many of these materials are naturally occurring, subtle variations in colour, markings and finish make each piece slightly different — and are part of what we love about them.

Colour is a big part of L’Atelier 73. Enamel allows us to bring it into our jewellery in unexpected ways - from flashes of cobalt and turquoise to pink, green and orange. Applied to the surface of the metal, enamel creates the smooth, colourful finish seen across many of our charms, rings and amulets.
