OUR STORY

Jewellery with meaning. Never too precious.

L'Atelier 73 is a London jewellery brand with modern talismans at its heart - pieces inspired by love, luck and protection, designed to be worn every day.

Founded by Nishita Assomull in 2024, the brand brings together two sides of her world: an Indian upbringing surrounded by jewellery rich in symbolism and a love of effortless, slightly irreverent style.

Growing up in an Indian family, jewellery was never purely decorative - from the nazar, or evil eye, to the taweez, a protective amulet, symbols of luck and good fortune were part of everyday life, worn with meaning and often given with love.

That idea of jewellery as something personal runs through L'Atelier 73 today, reimagined in a way that feels modern, playful and easy to wear.

A little luck. A little love. A little protection.

Evil eyes, amulets, hearts and suns appear throughout the collection, alongside colourful cords and unexpected details. Meaningful, but never too serious. Made to be stacked, layered, mixed up and worn on repeat.

MEET NISHITA

Founder & Creative Director

"I never consciously set out to create what people now call a grown-up friendship bracelet."

I started L'Atelier 73 because I couldn't find the jewellery I wanted to wear myself. I've always loved something classic with an unexpected detail - a pink bra under a black shirt, a flash of colour where you don't expect it. I wanted my jewellery to feel the same.

I grew up around jewellery rich in symbolism, while on my travels I collected colourful cord bracelets. I loved their informality, but could never find one that felt quite effortless enough.

The Bohemian Amour bracelet brought those two worlds together - something meaningful, colourful and easy to wear. I wanted to put it on and not take it off.

Rather unexpectedly, lots of other women did too.

The collection has grown from there, but the idea remains the same: jewellery with personality, meaning and an unexpected detail.

AS SEEN IN THE NEW YORK TIMES

In August 2026, The New York Times profiled Nishita and L'Atelier 73 - from launching the brand at 51 to the story behind the Bohemian Amour bracelet.
